Meet Maya! She is a 9 month old Saint Bernard who was surrendered by her owner.

Maya is a big puppy that loves pets and cuddles. Currently she  weighs 40 KG’s (yes, that equals almost 90 pounds)  and is still growing.

She seems to do well with other dogs, however being the only animal in the house would be best for her. She still needs lots of one on one work with her training and obedience.

Maya loves to play and run around, and will roll over to get belly rubs.   Maya doesn’t do well with strangers, however once she knows you, she will be all over you asking for attention!

Due to her high excitability, she is looking for a home without small children so she doesn’t accidentally knock them over and would do best in a home with  an experienced guardian to help her become the best dog she can be.

Maya is currently on a special hypoallergenic diet to help clear up some skin issues. There is a chance that she may need to stay on this type of food for the rest of her life.
