We have been lucky enough to have eyes and ears on the ground in Windsor, the site of the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and one of the people right in the thick of things is Editor-In-Chief of HELLO! Canada, Alison Eastwood.

Today, Alison had several adventures that included a chat with a man named Richard Salked of Great Western Railway who showed Alison that many of the city’s train stations had their names changed as an honour to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their special day…

Over 60,000 people are expected to travel to Windsor via train to witness the couple’s nuptials.

It is not enough to just capture pictures and video on social media of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, it is important to stop and pick up a souvenir, commemorating this wonderful occasion…

Alison also showed us where an expected 90,000 people will watch Harry and Meghan do a long walk, actually a long ride via horse and carriage, as they make their way from the castle, around the surrounding area and then back inside.

Two of those 90,000 people hoping to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds will be Doreen and Terry, who showed up six days ago all because “the whole idea to get here that early is to be first. We planned this spot and we’re going to stay here…”

One of the cool characters Alison met was a man who goes by the name “Patch”. He is one of the “fudgesmiths” at Fudge Kitchen, which is opposite Windsor Castle. They have been giving out free samples of special Royal Wedding Cake Fudge!

Make sure you follow Alison on Twitter and Instagram as she will have LOTS more to share as the big day is tomorrow!
