With just over a month left in the federal election campaign, the leaders of the three major parties will square off in a debate focused on the economy.
Conservative Leader Stephen Harper, NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair and Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau will take part.
Thursday evening’s leaders’ debate will be moderated by David Walmsley, editor-in-chief of The Globe and Mail. Political reporter Jane Taber will lead a panel before and after the debate.
Green Party Leader Elizabeth May was not invited to the debate. She has decided to live-tweet her responses to questions and issues raised in the Globe and Mail’s Federal Leaders’ Debate.
She will be live-tweeting from Victoria.

The debate gets underway at 5 p.m. Pacific and will last two hours.  You’ll be able to catch the live stream at our sister station’s website, News1130.com
