8 yr old boy hit and killed by truck in Hope

RCMP say an 8 year old boy has died after he was hit by a commercial truck in Hope earlier today.

It happened in the 400 block of 6th Ave around 12:30pm Wednesday.  The boy was taken to hospital, where he died from his injuries.  The driver of the truck has been cooperating fully with the investigation, and police are asking anyone who saw what happened to contact them.
