Sweet four-year-old girl Bailey has been in care for over 131 days still waiting for her new, forever family!

Bailey had a sore hip from an early age, but she’s had the surgery she needed to be comfortable, and it shouldn’t slow her down at all! She’s still recovering from the surgery, but she’ll be back to doing her second favourite thing of hiking up mountains in no time! (Her number one favourite thing is sleeping at her persons feet)

Bailey is such a sweet girl and LOVES being with people, she is very playful, loves car rides, is active, cuddly and talkative. She has a distinctive “smile” when she’s super excited and happy. She wants to be by her persons side always and is the epitome of a “Velcro dog”. She’s content to lay by her person and is generally very calm.

Bailey would be best suited to a home with no small children due to a history of resource guarding- though this is easily managed and has not been seen in her foster home. She’s also a bull in a China shop and does not know her own size/strength and could easily knock over a little one.

She is quite vocal and may not be suitable in a situation where she would be left alone for extended periods.

She’s also looking for a home with no small animals due to some prey drive.
