Nowell closed down this morning due to "suspicious" package

Chilliwack RCMP say the bomb disposal unit was called in Monday morning after a suspicious package was found near the Shaw building on Nowell St.  The road was closed off with police tape between Yale and Princess, while authorities dealt with it.  Police won’t say what exactly was in the package, but say it was “disposed of” and none of the public were in danger.  There were no block-wide evacuations, but some employees of Shaw were seen waiting outside of the building.
