This is Kasca.  She is a two-year-old female German Shepherd.

Kasca is extremely energetic, focused and driven to please her humans. We are hoping to place her in a home that is familiar with German Shepherds as she does have some breed specific behaviours.

Kasca needs a lot of human interaction to keep her busy and happy! She really loves being around her people,  but is fearful and wary of strangers. Slow positive introductions are necessary when meeting new people. Kasca has history of being selective with other dogs and due to her energy and drive she should be the only dog in the home.

This energetic girl has also shown the Chilliwack SPCA crew that she can be reactive when seeing another dog out and about. Her guardian will need to be ready to work on building her confidence with both human and canine strangers. Kasca is not good with cats or other small animals as she does have a bit of a prey drive. Also, a home with small children would not be the best for her.

Kasca would love to have guardians who will spend time playing ball with her, take her on hikes, as well as daily walks. There is nothing better to Kasca then exploring and seeing new things.

If you would like to discuss Kasca with staff, please call 604-823-6612. If you know Kasca would make a great addition to your family, you can fill out an application: Dog Adoption Application – Chilliwack | BC SPCA  Current travel restrictions within the province of British Columbia mean that local adopters are prioritized at this time.
