RCMP make two arrests in connection to recent robberies

One of two men arrested following a robbery in Chilliwack may be connected to some of the area’s other recent armed robberies.
32 year old Allan Rusk and 24 year old Herbert Hanuse are in custody awaiting a court date after being arrested April 9th as suspects in the robbery of a Wells road convenience store.
Hanuse has since been linked to three other robberies, two on Bunker road and one on Yale road.
Rusk faces one charge of robbery and one of possession of stolen property.
Hanuse meanwhile has been charged with three counts of robbery and possession of a weapon, plus one count of assault causing bodily harm and use of an imitation firearm.
